is alinklink.com?
Alinklink.com is
a computer based matching service for instructors and students to directly
contact each other. This service is offered free of charge to the instructor
and allows the instructor and student to meet without the need to use a private
school. Private schools can be very costly, intrusive and restrictive to both
the instructor and the student. Alinklink.com allows both the student and the
instructor to make decisions about how the lessons will run, when they will
take place, who they will be with and how much their lessons will cost. Instructors
are NOT OBLIGATED to make a contract with alinklink.com. Alinklink.com DOES
NOT make rules for prices, schedules or teaching styles. These things
are entirely left the instructor to decide. Alinklink.com will always try to
provide advice to the instructor when possible and if requested. Alinklink.com DOES
NOT take any money or percentage from instructor lesson fees.

How do you recruit
students?
Our students are recruited from advertisements
placed in local magazines or newspapers with the majority responding
through our Japanese language website. Top
How does alinklink.com
make money and how do students get my information?
The students
will browse the alinklink.com instructor data base for instructors
in their area and that meet their preferences. After deciding on which
instructors the student wishes to contact the student
pays a 600 yen per person fee (Minimum 3). This fee is Alinklink.coms
fee for providing the matching service. At NO time
does alinklink.com charge private instructors for this service. Once
alinklink.com has verified payment of this matching fee we will email
your given contact information to the student. This will be the information
you choose to provide and may be either an email address, a homepage
address or a fax/phone number. Top
What are the requirements
of Membership at alinklink.com ?
Its easy to be a member
of Alinklink.com.
The requirements are:
- Have a valid working visa for Japan .(*N.B.*
alinklink.com DOES NOT provide sponsorship for instructors to
get working visas in Japan and cannot give any information or
advice about visas. Please contact your nearest consulate or
relevant authority for this advice.)
- Be in Japan at the time of registration.
- Have some means of contact such as a telephone, fax or email.
- Be a native or near native speaker of the language(s) you wish
to teach.
- Be able to teach the student for minimum
of three to six months. (This is because students tend to study
for at least this length of time.) Top
Who can use
alinklink.com services and how long can I be a member?
Anybody
can use Alinklink.com service.
Whether a fully qualified teacher looking for full time employment or
a foreign worker in Japan looking to expand income with a varied time
table. For whatever reason you wish to teach the place to get started
is at the INSTRUCTOR SIGN-UP PAGE.
You can be a member for as long as you
wish at Alinklink.com if
you continue to reside in Japan . We ask however that all instructors
be in Japan for a minimum period of three to six months and you regularly
check in to the alinklink.com data base to renew your record.
This not only helps your chances of being selected by a potential student
but also helps us give you the best service possible. For this reason
all records that are not renewed at least once in an 8 months
period will be automatically deleted. Top
What
Should I do If I Lose My Password?
From the top page click the Forgot your password? link
located under the teacher / student login section. Enter your email address into
the window that comes up and a new password will be sent to you straight away.

What
should I do if I wish to change the email address of my account?
From the top page, go to the instructor control page,
by logging in using your email and password that you used to sign up.
Then click the button that says enter new email. Enter your new email
address twice to confirm the address. A confirmation mail will be sent
to your new email address. Please not that once you have changed your
email adress you will need to get your new password and then log back
into the Alinklink.com data
base to restart your record. Go to the top
page now. Top
How
do I make changes to my record and keep it maintained?
From the top page, go to the instructor control page, by
logging in using your email and password that you used to sign up. After
logging in you may change details that you entered before on various pages.
Please keep your record as up to date as possible and always keep your
contact information up to date or potential students will not be able to
contact you. You may also delete your record. (Please
be careful as once a record has been deleted it cannot be recovered!) Go

Where
can I get more information about getting to Japan ?
You
should try your nearest consulate or Japanese Embassy as they are
usually happy to provide information about various aspects of living
and job possibilities in Japan . Alternatively there are several
well informed websites for further information of this kind. Try
searching google.com or yahoo.com as
these search engines are most popular in Japan and should provide plenty
of links, or try sites such as; http://www.teachinginjapan.com or http://www.ohayosensei.com.
After you have arrived in Japan and have legal visa status, a living
address and some means of contact such as a telephone, fax or email,
then please join us to start getting seen by prospective students as
